While it wasn’t cloudy outside, the winds blew steadily and it felt cold. Good thing, because as Patches and Forrest were going at it two larger more intimidating dogs were surrounding the two of them and barking like mad. When Patches and MiloLong showed up, Forrest gravitated to Patches filling the void Scraps would have liked to fill. Eventually, Forrest the the brown-eyed while Jack Russell, showed up and he got Rags going where they were chasing each other for a little while. We hung with the group of 4 hot dogs hanging around trying their best to cause and not to cause chaos. Lily eventually found some dogs to play with, so that was good to see. We saw Lily, the brown and white Poodle, who we used to often see at the Denville dog park. There were must have been 20-30 dogs in the large dog park so there was a good crowd in there. When we arrived we saw there was only one lonely dog in the small dog park, so we spent the entire time in the large dog park. TGIF – Scraps and Rags arrived at the dog park after a long hard week of dog work, so they were psyched it was Friday and that they were at the dog park. Prior to the sun leaving I was able to take lots of good light drenched pictures so check them out and enjoy. We left around 1:30 when the sun began to hide behind a blanket of clouds. Rags does really like the mud at all what a princess. With today’s high temperatures, the ground was much muddier than yesterday. This kept it clean and fun to run around in but eventually Scraps’ feet seemed to get cold so we headed to the large dog park where there was more of the ground was showing through the previously melted snow. The small dog park was still covered with snow. All three are new to the blogs tagging system, so welcome. ![]() Today at the dog park we met Mozy, BaileyTan, a small happy playful tan dog and also Ginger, a slightly larger tan dog in the large dog park. Yesterday there were none in the small dog park, but today there was a nice mix.īy 12:30 Scraps and Rags got over their hangovers and dragged their haunches of of bed and to the dog park to play the other hungover dogs. This meant there were more dogs in the park. Today was much brighter and warmer than yesterday. For some reason, Nigel always gets bit so his Mom was fearing Rags may attack him. Finally, in the small dog park we met a small Pit-bull like tan dog named Nigel. There was also a brown bodied Pit-bull with a bright white face named Rocky who was getting picked on by the much smaller yet more tenacious Forrest, the Jack Russell. New to the dog park blog were a pair of giant Irish Wolf Hounds Petey and Katie. Later in the large dog park, there were mainly big dogs and they were also playing hard. There was a lot of playing and running in the small dog park where about 10 dogs came out to play. With the bright sun and the playful dogs I was able to get many good action photos. I guess lots of the dogs have cabin fever and the warm sun got them excited. We first went to the small dog park where we played with many of the same dogs we saw yesterday. ![]() This brought out lots of dogs including my beloved Scraps and Rags. It was sunnier, warmer and the snow was softer on the dogs’ paws. This Sunday was a much nicer day than yesterday.
